Somes controls, such as the group box, cannot be assigned a transparent color. But because I'm using a background image for my form, these group boxes look REALLY ugly because they cut of the picture. Is there no way to have a group box that is transparent, except for the frame and the controls in the group box?
That doesn't work for group box controls. Visual Studio informs me that "Transparent" is an invalid property value for a group box's BackColor. (As I first said, "Somes controls, such as the group box, cannot be assigned a transparent color")
Is there any other way to do this?
Oh, this is bizarre. I'm not allowed to set my existing group boxes to transparent, but I can set a new group box to transparent. Does anyone have any idea what rationale might be behind this?
Okay, I've figured it out. Using "System" as the FlatStyle seems to disable the use of transparent background colors. I can admit it, "Yes"'s adamant postings were a big help here!
Ohhh!!! Finally I found this! "Right click on Groupbox Properties Set Backcolor in Web to Transparent"
Thanks a lot who have posted this answer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
